Woodys Barcelona glasses are the result of cutting-edge research and trendy design.
Its founder, Josep Dosta, managed to coin his favorite hobby (wakeskate, a water sport performed on a wooden board on the waves created by a boat), with the need of an ever-growing market (that of eyewear).
The idea of comfortable, resistant and technological glasses came to Dosta after yet another pair of glasses fell into the water following training, so he decided to apply the same technology with which he had improved his wakeskate board to the design of a line of glasses.
Once perfected, Woodys Barcelona was born, glasses that combine the tradition of the past with the new avant-gardes of modern times.

Sunglasses that combine the quality and elegance of the premium Italian acetate front with the resistance and solidity of metal continue to be the icon of the brand. We use natural acetates made from wood pulp and cotton fiber to create block structures and 100% custom prints, now with a smaller, more comfortable nose pad.
